Why Can’t There Be Music?

It’s February again, which means February Album Writing Month (FAWM) is underway. It’s kind of like NaNoWriMo for music — you write 14 songs in 28 days, and post lyrics on the website. Achievers put recordings too. I do at least the lyrics most years, and I’ve written or at least started 14 songs the last three years in a row.

It’s the 7th, which usually means I’m about 4 songs in at this point. As of today, I’ve written half a song.

I don’t have an excuse, although there are reasons.
