It turns out when you work out consistently, you’re teaching your muscles to love exercise. This sounds like a good thing, and most days it is. Most days, I can get out for a walk or a run or get to the gym to lift often enough that it doesn’t drive me crazy.
Today though? I’m itching to go run. Or bike. Or pick up something heavy.
